In art today, we each designed our own flower petals and then painted it. Check out your design on Iris! They will be glued together to make a collaborative mural.

T.W.A.S.
Last week, we were so fortunate to have Elevate Lacrosse here for a week of instruction from Coach Dan. We've continued our lacrosse skills in gym and had played outside with our Buddies. Today was the annual Teachers vs Grade 5 Lacrosse Game. The weather was perfect and it was a hard fought game - there is some dispute as to the final score! We do know that this was the highest scoring Grade 5 team in history!

Telus Spark Field Trip
On Tuesday, our class had the opportunity to explore the Telus Spark Science Centre! We first took part in a program called "Sparking Circuits" where we experimented with different ways to create circuits. After that, we had to investigate the different exhibits and the amazing outdoor space. These are the highlights from the students:
A.M. - walking on the tight rope
N.E. - playing in the park, especially the swing
K.T. - trying on the different costumes in the circus area
B.G. - bungee jumping!!
M.B. - the outdoor slide
N.F. - the area where you could build your own dress
And so much more!! Thank you to Mrs. Dana, Mrs. Jennifer and Mr. Ken for all your help today!
