This Week At School (Sept 3-6)
K. - We started learning about different types of wetland ecosystems, specifically bogs, fens, marshes, and swamps. We learned that peat is decayed vegetation or organic matter.
K. - Our class is learning about using a compass rose for Social Studies.
K. - We used picture books to find juicy descriptive language. Then we reviewed what nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs are.
K. - In math, we continued to learn about collecting data and different kinds of graphs such as double bar graphs and pictographs.
Also this week patrols and Family Friday began!
